‘NDC in bed with EC’ allegation just useless propaganda – Pratt

Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr has described as a ‘useless propaganda’ allegations that the Electoral Commission is doing the bidding of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Kwesi Pratt says it is wrong for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to dabble in such accusations especially when the EC has sided with them (NPP) in some occasions.

“…this propaganda that is going around that the Electoral Commission is in bed with the National Democratic Congress and that in all issues it has agreed with the NDC and opposed the New Patriotic Party. This is just useless propaganda…it has no basis and I think it should be dismissed for what it is…” he said during a panel discussion on Radio Gold’s Alhaji and Alhaji programme Saturday.

The seasoned journalist also condemned media houses who now do the bidding of political parties in the country.

According to him, the media instead of being objective, are now framing stories to suit either the NDC or the NPP; hence the actual fact is hidden.
