National Theatre re-launches website

The National Theatre of Ghana on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 re-launched its website.

The purpose of the launch was to enable the public access information, pricing and calendar of upcoming events at the place.

The website, according to the management of the Theatre, will serve as a platform for the public to interact on issues concerning the facility.

Chief Director of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Arts, Nana Oduro Kwarteng, launched the website on behalf of the ministry.

In a speech, he motivated Ghanaians to appreciate their culture and arts despite the increase in globalisation.

He said: “We must prioritise our arts and culture and use it to the development of
our economy.”

According to the acting Executive Director of the National Theatre, Mrs. Amy Appiah Frimpong, plans about the website were put in place a year ago to offer service and facilitate interaction with the public.
She went further to urge the public to visit the website.

The website is www.nationaltheatreghana.com
