Nana Addo is telling Ghanaians Kweku Ananse stories – Sofo Azoka

The presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo Addo has made some promises on his recent campaign tour.

Some of these promises include the 1 factory per district policy, the 1 village, 1 dam in the Northern region, and recently the US$1 million per constituency which would be spent on priority infrastructure.

The NPP has argued time and again that the policies announced by the presidential candidate is doable with competent managers in the realm of affairs, led by its presidential candidate Nana Akufo Addo.

However, the Northern regional chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sofo Azoka has stated that the promises the former attorney general is making are ”Kweku Ananse Stories.”

In his view, the leader lacks a message to convince voters’ and so he goes about promising unrealistic policies.

The NPP he said cannot be trusted when the issue of job creation comes up for discussion. He recounted how the NPP when in power collated the data of young people with the hope of providing them jobs, yet the party allegedly went for the HIPC money and squandered it.

The NDC administration he explained has created enough jobs through its infrastructural projects and development. ”The more development we have, the more jobs we create,” he said.

He said Nana Addo comes nowhere near President Mahama in terms of policies and programmes hence people comparing the two should desist from doing that.

Sofa Azoka who was speaking with Kwame Tutu on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm advised Nana Addo to stop lying to Ghanaians with his unattainable promises and speak the truth.
