MP educates electorate on Government policies

Dunkwa-On-offin (C/R), Dec. 30 GNA – Nana Amoako, Member of Parliament for Upper Denkyira East, says the best legacy parents could bequeath to their children is education. They should, therefore, take advantage of the capitation grant and send their children to school. Nana Amoako was educating some members of his constituencies on Government’s policies at meeting in Dunkwa-On-Offin. He spoke on parliamentary procedures; National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) and the Capitation Grant.

Nana Amoako said the NHIS would make health care accessible to the people, especially those in the rural areas. They should, therefore, register with the scheme to enable the District’s scheme to take off.

He asked members of the constituency to be law abiding and to honour their tax obligation to supplement Government’s efforts in providing infrastructure in the District.
