Minority Leader inaugurates school blocks at Maakro and Kronum

Kumasi, Nov 15, GNA – Mr Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, Member of Parliament (MP) for Suame and Minority Leader in Parliament, has inaugurated school blocks built at Maakro and Kronum in his constituency.

Each of the blocks has six classrooms, an office and a store and cost a total of GH¢280,000.00 to complete.

The money was accessed from the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund).

Performing the ceremony, Mr Mensah-Bonsu, said he was determined to help create the right environment in schools for effective academic work.

This is borne out of the pivotal role education plays in socio-economic development.
