Mills was a man of sincere heart – Emile Short

A former Commissioner of the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), Justice Emile Francis Short has mentioned the late President John Atta Mills as one of the few sincere men Ghana has had.

According to him, although there are a few good people around, the late Professor stood out.

Speaking to Bola Ray on Starr Chat Wednesday, the outspoken retired judge described the late President as “a man of humility and of sincere heart”.

On politics in the country, Justice Short reiterated his discomfort with the ‘winner-takes all’ politics that is practiced in the country. He said the nation must gravitate towards building a more inclusive governance structure instead of what currently pertains.

He said he believes the country will see more development if all sides of the divide are brought on board to build the nation.

Justice Short also revealed to Bola Ray that he is in love with Ghanaian highlife songs and mentioned legends Daddy Lumba and Kojo Antwi as some of his favorite artistes.
