Military Officers hold WASSA

Major Donald Asante, acting Commanding Officer of the Ghana Armed Forces (Camp), has appealed to the junior ranks to endeavour to respect their senior colleagues in the military.

He said this would propel their seniors to gladly teach them all that they needed to know, and also bring about mutual respect among officers.

Speaking at the celebration of WASSA 2015 over the weekend at the Military Headquarters at Burma Camp, he expressed his appreciation to family members of all military officers for their understanding and support to their spouses in the military.

WASSA is an annual event celebrated by the various arms of the Ghana Armed Forces, such as the Army, the Navy, and the Air Force, which brings together family members to eat, drink and make fun at a get-together.

Some of the activities outlined for WASSA 2015 were military dressing competition, pick and act, musical chairs, cultural dance by spouses, among others.
