Manhyia Palace extends condolences to Enin’s family

Kumasi, Feb 15, GNA – The Manhyia Palace in Kumasi has expressed total shock and dismay about what it described as the 93sadistic” and “brutal” murder of Mr Samuel Enin, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Ghana Journalist Association (GJA).

It has subsequently conveyed its condolences to the wife, bereaved family and children for the untimely death of Mr Enin.

In a release issued by the Manhyia Palace on Wednesday and signed by Mr G.B. Osei-Antwi, Media Relations Manager, the Palace has always considered Mr Enin who had led the journalists association in the region for many years, as affable, hard working and affectionate.

“Mr Enin had lofty ideas to make the regional association very vibrant by putting on their agenda the construction of a press centre in Kumasi where activities of the media and other public functions could be held.

The Manhyia Palace expressed the hope that the security agencies with the support of the public would expose the perpetrators of the dastardly act.
