Mahama tours Kumasi flood areas

President John Mahama has toured some areas in the Ashanti Region recently hit by floods.

Some parts of Kumasi, Aboabo being one was recently hit by torrential rains, in which one person got killed and several others injured and displaced.

Mahama’s visit also saw him donate some relief items to the affected victims.

Taken round by Metropolitan Chief Executive Kojo Bonsu, he also inspected hydrological maps of Aboabo before heading for a community durbar. He also toured some rubbish-filled drains around the Kumasi Airport roundabout.
