Mahama nominates 4 new DCEs

President John Mahama has nominated four new District Chief Executives (DCEs), according to a statement signed and issued by Local Government Minister Julius Debrah on Tuesday.

They are Bukari Darimani, Sissala West District; and Seidu Cletus Dapila, Jirapa District both in the Upper West Region.

The others are David Wuni, West Mamprusi; and Sampoa Timothy Laari, Bunkrugu/ Yunyoo both in the Northern region.

Also, the President has “re-nominated Alhaji Alhassan Musah as DCE for Kumbungu in the Northern Region”.

Meanwhile, the President has, in accordance with Article 243 (3) (b) of the 1992 Constitution, directed the revocation of the appointment of Mr Joseph Dofoyenah, District Chief Executive for Ahanta West with immediate effect.
