Mahama graces 25th Anniv. of Akatsi Sec. Tech.

The President was the special guest at the Silver Jubilee of the Akatsi Senior High Technical School at Akatsi in the Volta region over the weekend.

According to President Mahama, Technical, Vocational and Educational Training, TVET in second cycle schools will continue to be a priority as it offers opportunities to develop the country.

President Mahama stated that globally premium is being put on skills training because it has the tendency to build a robust human resource base of a country.

He called on Parents and Students to consider the option to feed the growing industrial sector.

Speaker of Parliament Edward Doe Adjaho and the Minister of Education Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang were present at the ceremony.
