Award-winning gospel musician Mabel Okyere has announced Sunday, 25 October 2026, for the first edition of The Glory Concert, the newly rebranded event formerly known as Anuonyam Concert.
The concert will represent a new chapter in Okyere’s ministry, with the singer and her team adopting a renewed focus on worship, praise and the proclamation of the Gospel.
According to her management, the name change reflects the growth of Okyere’s ministry and the direction it is taking, while maintaining the central purpose of the annual gathering: creating an atmosphere in which lives can be transformed through the presence of God.
The 2026 event will be the third edition of the concert overall, but the first to be held under the name The Glory Concert.
Anuonyam Concert has taken place twice over the past three years and has developed into one of Ghana’s notable gospel worship gatherings. Organisers say the new identity better represents the vision, purpose and expected impact of the ministry as the event moves into its next phase.
Preparations for the October event are already under way. The venue, guest ministers and further details about the programme are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
Management has thanked fans, media partners, sponsors and other stakeholders for their continued support since the concert began. The public has also been invited to attend the gathering on 25 October 2026, which organisers say will be an opportunity for worship, praise and thanksgiving.
The Glory Concert is intended to continue the mission established by Anuonyam Concert while presenting the event under a name that places its central message more clearly on giving glory to God.
Okyere’s supporters have been encouraged to follow her official social media platforms for future announcements and updates about the concert. Further information, including the location and the ministers who will take part, will be shared by the organisers in due course.
The rebranding marks a significant milestone for the gospel musician, whose annual worship event has grown in prominence after two successful editions. The third gathering will therefore combine the established foundation of Anuonyam Concert with the renewed vision represented by The Glory Concert.
Organisers are inviting the public to set aside Sunday, 25 October 2026, for what they describe as a memorable encounter centred on faith, worship and thanksgiving.
