Looming reshuffle: Mahama appraises Ministers

President John Mahama is assessing his Ministers and appointees one-by-one at a closed-door retreat in the Volta Region.

The performance review by the President of his appointees, according to sources, will culminate in a ministerial reshuffle.

Mr Mahama and his appointees are also using the meeting to take stock of the administration’s performance in the last three years.

Vice President, Kwesi Amissah Arthur, presidential staffers, and advisors are all attending the crucial meeting, which will also be used to review the implementation of policies outlined in the 2016 budget.

The President will also discuss with his appointees, strategies to adopt towards achieving the projects outlined for the development of the nation.

This is geared towards helping the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) retain power for another term at the 2016 presidential and parliamentary polls.
