‘Let’s press for higher spiritual development’

Maulvi Raghib Zia Ul Haq, Greater-Accra Regional Missionary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, has entreated Muslims to use the just-ended Eid-ul-Fitr, to reflect soberly on their lives, and improve on their spiritual development.

Maulvi Haq made the call when he led Ahmadis in special prayers to round off their month-long Ramadan fast at the Mission’s Headquarters at Community Five in Tema.

He reminded Muslims that they could achieve high spiritual growth only through righteous conduct, prayers, and when ‘they seek the grace of Allah.’

The Regional Missionary urged Muslims to use the occasion to show sympathy for the poor and the needy.

Sheikh Haruna Mustapha Cisse, Ashaiman Chief Imam, who led Muslims in their prayers at Ashaiman, urged them to use the occasion to renew their faith in Allah.

Sheikh Mustapha enjoined them to co-exist peacefully with their Christian brothers and sisters, in oder to safeguard the peace and stability of the nation.
