Let us stop fighting among ourselves

The Zabrama Community in Ghana have held their Seventh National Conference in Koforidua on the theme: “Progressing Unity With Effective Leadership, Necessary Tool For Emancipation of Zabrama Communities in Ghana.”

The Zabramas originated from Niger, and have settled in Ghana for a long time, with majority of them being traders.

Nana Osei Owusu Agyare the second, chief of Akwadum, advised Zabramas in the country to educate their children so that they can contribute meaningfully towards the development of their communities and Ghana as a whole.

He advised Ghanaians to avoid unnecessary political rivalry, and tolerate divergent views of one another to help build a peaceful country.

Chief Alhaji Musah Yahaya Yandu, National Chairman of Zabramas in Ghana, urged them to uphold unity and be good ambassadors of their country in Ghana.

Mr Julius Debrah, Eastern Regional Minister, congratulated the group for such an initiative to come together not only to seek their well being, but more importantly what they can contribute towards the development of Ghana.

He urged them to be law-abiding and contribute their quota towards the development of their various communities.
