Lawyer Egbert Faibille wants Anas unmasked

Egbert Faibille and his client, one Gabriel, indicted in the judicial corruption scandal are heading to the High Court to seek an order to compel Anas Aremeyaw Anas to unmask during the committee sitting.

Mr Faibaille and his client walked out on the judicial committee probing the scandal, because the committee refused to order Anas to unmask in front of the committee.

The counsel for the accused judicial staff demanded that the two other persons with the Ace investigative journalist be excused before they could cross-examine Anas but the committee objected.

The committee chaired by Mr Aboagye Tandoh said it was the Tiger Eye PI that petitioned the Chief Justice and not only Anas and since they are a team, they would have to stay during the sessions.

Meanwhile, the committee sitting on the investigations of the indicted High Court Judges has given Justice John Ajet-Nassam until Thursday October 22, to appear before it.

Information reaching the committee indicated that Mr Ajet-Nassam was nowhere to be found, since he was to appear before the committee on Monday October 19 but failed to turn up.

The committee has issued a directive asking him to appear tomorrow or will go ahead with their hearing without him.
