Kwaafokrom Community constructs borehole

Nsawam, April 19, GNA – The people of Kwaafokrom in the Akuapem South District, have through self-help constructed a borehole at the cost of 69 million cedis to solve the perennial water problem of the community.

Alhaji Yacob Mohammed, the Unit Committee Chairman who spearheaded the project told the Ghana News Agency that other projects being pursued by the people with the support of the District Assembly are a KVIP toilet facility and a junior secondary school. Nana Kwasi Addae, Odikro of the town warned that people who failed to partake in communal work would be punished.
