Kumasi Zongo chiefs congratulate President Erdogan

The President of the Council of Zongo Chiefs in Kumasi, Naba Musah Akambonga has, on behalf of the Council members and the entire Zongo community, extended a congratulatory message to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey on his recent election victory.

“We here in Ghana wish to identify with you and to share with you this honour done you by the people of Turkey”, a statement signed by Naba Akambonga and copied to the Ghana News Agency said.

The statement continued: “We hope that under your leadership the relationship between your country and Ghana, and in particular with the Council of Zongo Chiefs in Kumasi, will continue to grow from strength to strength.”

It said members of the Council would continue to pray that “the Almighty Allah, the Most Merciful, will grant His Excellency President Recep Tayyip Erdogan good health and wisdom to discharge his duties to the people of Turkey”.
