Former President John Agyekum Kufuor is expected to mount the podium on Sunday, August 3 to deliver this year’s Ramadan Public Lecture in Accra.
The Lecture will be delivered on the theme: “The Role of Religion on Governance.”
Organisers explained on TV3’s Iqra on Friday August 1 that the choice of the former president was spot-on as he is not only the immediate past president of the country but has enormous wealth of knowledge in religion.
To be held at the Holiday Inn Hotel, the Lecture is under the auspices of the Moslem Youth in Free Enterprise (MYFE).
Chairman of the Lecture will be Alhaji Alhassan Andani with Dr Augustine Tawiah of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) among the speakers.
