KOSSOSA USA branch donates $5,000 to school

It is our utmost pleasure to inform you that Konongo Odumasi Old students Association (KOSSOSA, USA BRANCH) has once again demonstrated the spirit of patriotism towards their alma mater by donating an amount of $5,000 towards the school’s effort to revamp the Old Science Laboratory and construct a new six-flat staff bungalow.

The amount which was pledged during the recent 60th Anniversary celebrations held at the school on 11/09/2013 was accordingly delivered on 11/30/2013.
It must be noted that barely 3 years ago, Anuanom, USA Branch also donated $3,000 to the school towards the construction of boreholes to alleviate the school’s acute water problems, a project which was successfully completed.
The Organizing Committee of Anuanom, USA Branch would like to congratulate all the donors for their generosity and remembrance of their alma mater.
For those who have not sent their donations, we kindly ask that you deliver on your pledges and send in your donations to the Committee members as soon as possible. It must be reiterated that the projects listed above will be multi-year ventures which will continuously need the support of all Anuanom both at home and abroad in the coming years, therefore your donations should flow until the projects are commissioned.

We intend to send out acknowledgement letters from the school’s headmistress and a donor’s list to all Anuanom in the USA in due course.

Again, the Committee would like to assure all Anuanom that we will effectively liaise with the school authorities to ensure that our donations are solely used for purposes of which Anuanom were duly informed.

Please, keep in touch with the Organizing Committee for further updates regarding the donations.

Thank You and May God Bless You and Mother KOSS.
