Koforidua Zongo market traders appeals for support

Traders at the Koforidua Zongo market in the New Juaben Municipality have expressed worry about the low patronage of the market.

They blamed the situation on the migration of some of the traders to the central business market, making patronage drop drastically.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency, Madam Elizabeth Asieduwaa, an orange seller noted that, all efforts made by the orange sellers association to convince the assembly to check the activities of people trading at illegal places.

She also expressed concern about the frequent loitering of livestock, which feed on their items and appealed to the assembly to check the menace.

A corn and cassava dough seller, Madam Bernice Zakplika, added that sanitation in the market is bad, which is endangering health.
