Jones Kugblenu finally laid to rest

The mortal remains of the former Director of Public Affairs, Parliament of Ghana, has finally been laid to rest in his hometown, Ada.

This follows a church service held in his honour at the forecourt of the State House on Saturday morning.

The event was well attended by the staff of the Parliamentary Service, Members of Parliament, family members and friends, the Parliamentary Press Corps, and former work colleagues among a host of others.

His body was laid in state for the public to file past it to pay their last respect.

Mr. Kugblenu joined his ancestors on August 24, 2015 in the United Kingdom after battling a protracted illness for sometime.
