The suspect (name withheld) who is in his teen was among three other friends who engaged the deceased in a fight around the Ho sports stadium, when he (the deceased) was returning home from the 59th Independence Day celebrations at Jubilee park in Ho.

During the scuffle, however, the suspect reportedly pulled a knife and stabbed Amu on his left breast and was later pronounced dead at the regional hospital.
