James Town Mantse In Trouble

The two ruling houses of James Town, Ajumako and Adanse have summoned the James Town Mantse, Nii Kojo Ababio V, to the High Court of Justice to render account of ?507,484,709,52 (Five hundred seven million, four hundred and eighty-four thousand, seven hundred and nine cedis, two pesewas he received on behalf of the James Town stool and its subjects.

The plaintiffs, Nii Sampa Kojo, Osiahene of James Town, Accra, Nii Danso of Dansoman and Sampa of James Town, in their writs of summons made an order for a prohibition, restraining the James Town Mantse, from making drawings from the James Town Bank Account without permission from the trial court.
