‘I’ll campaign for NDC and leave NPP for the Ashantis’

The New Patriotic Party is on the brink of losing one of its most influential members to their bitterest opponents if immediate actions are not taken to restore the image of the party.

Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, the Member of Parliament for Assin Central vowed on Okay FM to throw his weight behind the National Democratic Congress if plots to destroy the party continue to be fueled by certain selfish individuals from the Ashanti Region.

The outspoken MP made it clear he was certainly not happy about the way events leading to their presidential primaries have dented and brought deep division within the party.

Although he failed to mention the names of people setting the agenda to rip the NPP apart, he assured that “if they continue with the way they are going about things, I will openly campaign for the NDC.”

“I would use all my resources to support the NDC and those with selfish interests can run the party the way they like. The Ashantis can decide to keep the party and make it their property”, he said.
