I would have been better than Anas – Ken Agyepong

Outspoken Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has said he would have been one of Ghana’s best investigators and possibly better than ace investigative Journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas if he were not to be an MP.

The tough-talking and uncompromising politician has in the past exposed several malfeasances in public institutions and in certain instances his own political party the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and in the process sometimes courting both praises and condemnation from the public.

One issue which he is known to have made more public is the issue of the GH¢51 million Judgment debt wrongly paid to the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) financier Alfred Agbesi Woyome for his role in the construction of stadia for the CAN 2008 tournament held in Ghana.

Speaking to Fiifi Banson on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.3 FM, on a wide range of issues, Ken Agyepong who has publicly stated that he does not hesitate in paying fat monies to elicit information that he needs, said his job as an MP and other businesses he runs does not allow him the space and time to do the kind of investigations he would have loved to do.

“I tell you I would have been more than Anas if I were not an MP.”
