HealthLine TV programme holds social media live chat on Ebola

Vodafone Ghana’s award-winning health television programme, HealthLine will hold a live chat on social media to educate the general public on the deadly Ebola outbreak on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 11am.

During the live chat, doctors on the HealthLine programme will respond to questions from the general public on the disease.

Members of the public are encouraged to send their questions ahead via twitter to @VodafoneGhana and www.facebook.com/vodafoneghana

This initiative is part of Vodafone’s commitment to contribute to an enhanced health care delivery in the country. The telecom operator said it will continue to deploy communication solutions to bring about positive social change in the country.

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), over 1000 people have died from the disease – majority were in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia.
