Accra, March 30, GNA – The late Madam Hawa Yakubu was a great woman who served and carried the flag of Ghana high, President John Agyekum Kufuor said in a tribute to her at the Castle, Osu, on Friday. He said the Government and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of which she was the first National Chairman would therefore stand with the bereaved family to give “this high-spirited lady who lived like a meteor, a shooting star” a decent and befitting funeral.
