‘Gomoa East NDC will retain seat’

The Gomoa East Constituency branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has redoubled its campaign and organization strategies to defeat the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2016 General Elections.

Mr Bright Botchwey, Gomoa East Communication Officer, who made this known to the press at Agona Swedru, said confusion has rocked Gomoa East NPP, which had made it impossible for members to elect a Parliamentary Candidate..

He said the NDC would not rest on its oars, but would strive to win more supporters to ensure victory in the elections.

The Communication Officer said the sitting MP, Mr Okyere Kwao Panyin Aduamoah, had not declared his intention to contest in 2016, but NDC had an equal marketable candidate who would retain the seat in 2016.

He stated that the government under President John Dramani Mahama was doing everything possible to reverse the present economic challenges facing Ghanaians,

Mr Botchwey said the current Cedi stabilization against the major foreign currencies was empirical evidence by the government to improve the economy to enhance the quality of lives of Ghanaians.

The Communication Officer urged the people of Gomoa East to continue to rally behind the government, since better policies and programmes were being implemented.

He said the government was working fast to address the current energy crisis which had affected industries and commercial activities in the country.

The Communication Officer said the government would not disappoint the good people of Ghana, adding that policies and programmes on social interventions were being worked out to reduce poverty facing the masses.

He urged the people to ignore the propaganda being peddled by the opposition parties, and vote massively for NDC in 2016.
