Atalanta have completed the signing of Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana from Southampton in a deal worth up to €21 million.
The 23-year-old joins the Serie A side for an initial €17 million fee, with an additional €4 million in performance-related bonuses. Southampton will also receive 15% of any future transfer fee should Sulemana be sold on.
Sulemana has signed a four-year contract with the Bergamo club, with an option to extend for a fifth year.
The pacey winger struggled to make a lasting impact during his time at Southampton following their relegation from the Premier League, but remains highly rated for his explosive speed and flair on the ball.

Born in Techiman, Ghana, Sulemana began his professional career in Denmark with FC Nordsjælland before earning a move to Ligue 1 side Rennes. His performances there caught the attention of Premier League scouts, leading to his switch to Southampton in January 2023.
A regular in the Ghana national team, Sulemana featured for the Black Stars in the 2022 FIFA World Cup and has continued to grow in stature on the international stage.
