Ghana-Cuba to hold Session of Joint Commission

Accra, April 15, GNA- Ghana would host the 12th Session of the Ghana-Cuba Permanent Joint Commission for Co-operation from April 19-21 in Accra.

The three-day Session would focus discussion on the broad areas of economic, technical and cultural co-operation.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday and signed by Mr S.K. Dadey, Supervising Director in charge of PICLI said on economic co-operation, both countries would discuss issues related to trade, joint ventures and tourism.

It said under technical co-operation, the discussion would centre on agriculture, scientific research, mining, education and health. The statement said the Cuban delegation would meet various sector Ministers and key members of Ghana’s private sector. 15 April 04
