GFA Delegation Visit Family Of Late Football Administrator Stephen Appiah

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has visited the family of the late Stephen Appiah, a respected football administrator and former General Manager of PAC Academy, who passed away two weeks ago.

The delegation, led by GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, expressed condolences to Mrs Appiah and the bereaved family, offering words of comfort and solidarity.

Stephen Appiah, not to be confused with the former Black Stars captain of the same name, was widely regarded for his dedication to grassroots football. He previously served as General Manager of Division One side Achiken FC before joining PAC Academy and also held a position on the Ashanti Regional Football Association’s Executive Committee.

The GFA acknowledged his immense contribution to the growth of juvenile and Division One football in the Ashanti Region, describing him as a committed servant of the game.

The delegation also included GFA Vice President Mark Addo, Executive Council member Frederick Acheampong, Chief of Staff Michael Osekere and National Juvenile Committee member Abdulai Amidu (Camarat).

The visit followed an earlier appearance by GFA officials at the funeral of the late Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III, where they joined Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and other dignitaries in paying their respects.
