Fuel prices go up tomorrow

Consumers will pay six percent more for petrol from Thursday January 16, 2014.

It will sell at 233.00 pesewas per litre.

Similarly, the price of kerosene will shoot up by 19 percent while Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) will now sell at 8.73 percent higher per kilogramme.

Also, Gas oil which presently sells at the pumps at 226 pesewas a litre, will now go for 242 pesewas per litre.

Premix fuel, which is used mainly by fishermen and currently sells at 116.00 pesewas per litre, will see no price change.
