Founder of Lone Voice Ministry laid to rest

The mortal remains of the Founder and Leader of the Lone Voice Ministry, the Reverend Kofi Awadzi, was at the weekend laid to rest at the Church’s headquarters at Darmang/Ahwerease in the Eastern Region.

The late Rev Awadzi was a former Deputy Director, in-charge of Publishing, at the Information Services Department.

He also served for several years as a Public Relations Officer with the Ministry of Health.

Rev Delali Awadzi Osei-Boateng, a Senior Pastor of the Church, in a sermon, urged believers of Christ Jesus to renew their lifestyles to become models for the Kingdom of God by purging their hearts of malice and immorality.

She said: “We have to maintain a washed body through the word of God to ensure that we receive a good reward after we leave this life.”

Rev Awadzi, who is also the first daughter of the departed, paid tribute to her father for his good stewardship, saying by establishing a church and a prayer shelter as his legacy to the world, he had fought a good fight for posterity.

“Your legacy would ensure that there is a constant flow, for many years, of the river of salvation to those who are in need but are lost.

Rev Awadzi left behind a wife, Nana Yaa, and three children.
