Foundation donates to 11 institutions in Ashanti

Bekwai (Ash), Aug 31, GNA- CANAFRICA International Foundation, an NGO in Canada, has donated various items worth 60,000 dollars to 11 institutions in Ashanti.

The items included computers, wheel chairs, toys and learning materials.

The institutions included Mother and Child Community Development, with Mrs Theresa Kufuor, the First Lady as President, Prince of Peace Secondary School in Kumasi and Bekwai Hospital.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, which was attended by all the beneficiaries at Bekwai, Mr Ambrose Danso-Dapaah, President of the Foundation, said the aim of the NGO was to assist the under-privileged women and children in Africa.
