Former NDC Constituency Secretary defects

Mpaha (N/R), Dec. 1, GNA – Mr Bawa Fuseini, a former National Democratic Congress (NDC) Secretary of the Yapei/Kusawgu Constituency has defected to the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Announcing this at an NPP rally at Mpaha in the Central Gonja District on Tuesday, Mr Fuseini noted that within the nearly four years in power, the NPP Government had initiated more development projects in the communities than the eight-year rule of the NDC.

According to him, he had held the key to NDC victories in the constituency but he was now convinced that the ruling NPP government was the one that could bring rapid development to the area, hence his defection.

Mr Fuseini mentioned school infrastructure, roads, potable water and health facilities as some of the development projects that the Government had provided for the people.
