Five Suspected Serial Killers Arrested

The police have arrested two people, Kofi Medaho, 30 and Kofi Asembri, 33 for allegedly murdering a woman at Weija in Accra. The two, both masons from Togo lured Aku Davordze, 44 from where she was selling iced water into an uncompleted building and allegedly murdered her.

Three other persons, Geofrey Medaho, brother of Kofi Medaho, Christian Adudor and Djaba have also been arrested for failing to report the incident to the police though they knew of it.

The Officer in charge of the Criminal Investigations Department, David Asante Apeatu told the Ghana News Agency that Aku, mother of four, was naked when the body was found, just like the victims of the self-confessed serial killer, Charles Quansah. The CID boss said based on information they had gathered from Charles Quansah, they investigated Aku’s murder and arrested the suspects.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Police in collaboration with Interpol has mounted a search for another suspect, Emmanuel Adjetey Lomotey, 27, who lived in Nurnsbeirg in Germany under the name Wesley Wuff for murdering another person. His victim, Golda George, a 25-year-old first year student of the University of Ghana was found in a sack in the Densu river in June last year.
