A fetish priest believed to be in his 30s has been shot dead by unknown assailants on his farm at Koreaso in Asante Akyem Agogo in the Ashanti region.
Residents suspect Okomfo Badu was murdered by Fulani herdsmen because of frequent confrontations with them.
His body has been deposited at the regional hospital pending autopsy while the Police is investigating the case.
Kyemkwaa Nana Kofi Asare, a local reporter with Boss FM said the fetish priest prior to his death had been complaining of Fulani herdsmen who allowed their cows feed on his farm.
Asare reports that an eyewitness to the murder said the fetish priest had a verbal conflict with the Fulani men minutes before he was shot dead.
