Fear grips Kumasi over seizure of AK47s

Residents of Kumasi are living in fear following the interception of over 100 unlicensed guns by the Police in a special operation dubbed ‘Father Christmas’.

The police upon a tip off embarked on a swoop and retrieved the weapons at various locations in the suburb.

The weapons retrieved include AK 47s, pump action guns with ammunition.

Starr News understands at least 10 persons have been arrested in connection with the matter.

The Kumasi police will be holding a press conference Monday with the full details.
