Ernest Chemists launches pain relief ointment

Ernest Chemists Limited, a local drug manufacturer/distributor, in collaboration with Reckitt Benckiser, a British multi-national consumer goods company, has launched a new pain relief ointment, MOOV, onto the Ghanaian market.

The product comes in the gel format and its producers say it is available in 200 other countries including India, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, South Africa and United Arab Emirates.

The Business Development Officer of Reckitt Benckiser, Mr Chukwuemeka Okeke, said the product keeps one energised, enhances performance and helps tune up the body for a healthy lifestyle, adding that it is a safe type of medication for external use only.

“MOOV penetrates deep inside the skin and produces warmth which helps users recover fast from body aches and other forms of physical weariness,” Mr Okeke stated.

Mr Okeke said the product, also available in an aerosol spray, is solely distributed in Ghana by Ernest Chemists Limited.

Other Reckitt Benckiser brands include Dettol, Harpic, Mortein, Air Wick, Gaviscon, Strepsils, Nurofen, Lemsit, Bonjela gel,Woodwords gripe water and Durex.
