E/R: Koforidua Zongo youth clash with Military, Police

Some youth in Koforidua Zongo in the Eastern region have clashed with personnel of the Police and Military over the construction of a national security mast in the area.

The exchanges ensued Tuesday morning as the security officials appeared at the Zongo in Koforidua – the Eastern regional capital- to begin the project.

Starr News’ Kojo Ansah reports the youth physically stopped the excavator which was tilting the land for the construction to begin.

Ansah reports that the incident is creating tension and anxiety in the area.
