Dutch commends Ghanaian children

Drobo (B/A), Aug 23, GNA – A Dutch medical doctor has said Ghanaian children could be rated among the most intelligent in the world if given care, attention and protection by parents and guardians. Nana Dr Wegdam Arko 11, based in Techiman, has been inducted into the Pinta Clan of Gonasua in Jaman South District.

Speaking at the first anniversary celebration of Rein Geurtsen International School as Chairman of Board of Directors, Dr Arko, Nkosuohene of the area, said he was impressed by the performance of the pupils.

He said kids at such tender ages in the Netherlands could not match the extraordinary performance in drama put up by the school’s pupils. Nana Nketiah Caterpillar 11, Pintahene of Gonasua and proprietor of the school, commended Rein Gurtsen, a Dutch philanthropist, for his continued support for the school.

He said the school would introduce Information and Computer Technology programmes to keep pace with the dictates of “our global village”.
