Congratulations To Mother NDC -NDC-USA

The progressive branches of NDC-USA Chapter wish to extend a message of congratulations to the leadership of their mother organization, NDC-Ghana for holding another successful Congress over the weekend.

Proceedings and outcome of the exercise give much hope to the rank and file, and functionaries of the Party, not only at home but also in the Diaspora. Much hope is derived from the magnanimity displayed by both the elect and the out-going leaders after contests that were held in a spirit of comradeship.

To us in the USA, we can only be grateful to God, and celebrate the victory with pride for staying away from any unfortunate incident. Clearly, NDC as a relatively young political party is growing from strength to strength, and chalking one success after another. The atmosphere that prevailed at the event reassures us that NDC is on its maturity course, having become the true political family of choice for the moderate, the modest, and people from all walks of life.

As we celebrate this achievement, it is important to remind ourselves of the onerous task ahead in making Ghana a better place to live. While pursuing our development agenda, we must in unity and humility endeavor to live by our social democratic principles and values, tapping into all human and material resources for the benefit of society. Our strength should not only be assigned to electoral and congressional achievements, but most importantly be found in our conduct, character, and living by the truth.

Long live NDC! Long live Ghana!
