Danyame (Ash), Feb 27, GNA- A suggestion has been made for the Legislative Instrument (LI) that would guide the operations of the District Mutual Health Insurance Schemes to give opportunity to registered members in a particular district to have health care in any part of the country.

Nana Asamoah Ampem Dankwah, Chief of Danyame near Tepa in the Ahafo-Ano North district of Ashanti who made the suggestion, said this would ensure that registered members have health care anywhere they go. He was contributing during an interaction the District Mutual Health Insurance Scheme sensitisation team had with the community at Danyame to solicit their opinions and suggestions on the proposed benefit and premium for consideration in the Legislative Instrument on the scheme.

Nana Dankwah praised the government for instituting the scheme and said the necessary law should be enacted without delay for the scheme to be implemented.

Opanin Kofi Donkor, a prominent farmer at Kwadwo Addai village commended the government for reshaping and re-gravelling the 10-kilometre Abonsuaso-Danyame road.

He appealed to the district assembly to reshape the two-kilometre Danyame-Kwadwo-Addai road for easy transportation of cocoa and other foodstuffs.

The farmers who attended the forum, asked the assembly to provide the Bepoase, Fawoman and Kwadwo Manu villages with boreholes to ease the water problem in the area.
