Church leader donates generator to Nsawam Police

Pastor Isaac Acquah, the Founder and General Overseer of the Good Shepherd Ministry at Yawkorkor, near Nsawam, has donated an electric generator to the Nsawam Police Station.

Briefing the Ghana News Agency, Pastor Acquah said the generator which cost GH¢ 3,800 was his personal donation to supplement power supply to the station due to power outages.

He hoped this would go a long way to help the Police to work efficiently in the night, whilst providing security to the people.

Pastor Acquah urged other churches, philanthropists and charitable organizations, to support the Nsawam Police with logistics, to enable them to provide effective policing in the area.

Superintendent Magnus Reindorf Sam, the Nsawam Police Commander who received the generator, expressed gratitude to the donor for the timely intervention, and gave the assurance that the equipment would be used for its intended purpose.

He urged other religious bodies and organizations to emulate the example of the Founder and General Overseer of the Good Shepherd Ministry, by also offering a helping hand to the Nsawam Police to ensure effective policing.
