Christians told to live on expectation of the Christ

Christians have been urged to eschew sin and live their lives in expectation of the return of Jesus Christ.

Elder Evs Kwame Ayim, Presiding Elder of the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC) at Atomic in Accra, said current happenings bear testimony to the fact that Jesus is coming soon.

According to him the hard times, diverse diseases, famine, wars and floods among other things, are all prophecies being fulfilled.

He said these warnings were clear manifestations of the second coming of the Christ which would be preceded by the rapture.

Elder Ayim however encouraged all believers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to be alert and look out for the signs that has been foretold in the Bible.

This, he said would motivate believers to live righteous lives in order not to miss the rapture.

Believers from all the English Assemblies in the Madina District of the Church of Pentecost met at the PIWC – Atomic church for an Easter convention which was on the theme: “Behold.: Jesus is coming soon.”
