Christian Service University College introduces new Programme

Kumasi, April 30, GNA – The Christian Service University College (CSUC) in Kumasi is to begin a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies Programme May this year.

The School which was established in 1974 as a theological College launched the programme on Tuesday in Kumasi.

CSUC with a current student population of 1,355, offer degree programmes in Theology, Business Administration and Computer Science. Briefing the Press, Professor Emmanuel Frempong, President of the

College said, CSUC was ready to take-off with the programme and hoped it would augment efforts to promote the use of communication tools to ensure peace and development in the society.

Professor Frempong said one of the College’s visions is to produce a new generation of people with good moral uprightness, academic excellence and passion to serve and transform people.

Reverend Ammisshaddai Dei-Awuku, Head of the Communication Programme indicated that, the new programme give the student a foundational policy and biblically derived understanding of the theory

and practice in communication study. He said application has been sent to the University of Ghana for the programme to be affiliated to its School of Communications.
