The Christian Council of Ghana has sent a congratulatory message to the Royal Occupant of the Golden Stool, His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, on the celebration of his 15th Anniversary of Enstoolment to the Golden Stool.
Speaking to peacefmonline.com in an exclusive interview, the General Secretary of the Christian Council of the Ghana, Dr. Opuni-Frimpong explained that His Royal Highness has shown exemplary leadership style which has culminated into the improvement of country’s infrastructure.
“Gone are the days when a king leads his people to war to reclaim lands from others; and that alone was enough development for his people, but now the situation has changed.
“His Royal Highness has shown exceptional qualities of leadership, with his introduction of Otumfuo Educational Fund, he has indeed helped and assisted most brilliant but needy students in the country”, he explained.
Dr Opuni-Frimpong added: “We are at Christian Council are indeed grateful, we appreciate the effort of his Royal Highness in promoting education and peace in the country.
“We pray that the almighty God will continue to guide his steps, protect him and grant him more life to enable him continue with his good works for the people of Ashanti and the country at large”.
