Catholic teachers salute new GES Director-General

The Association of Catholic Teachers (ACT) has sent a goodwill message to the newly appointed Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Mr. Jacob Aaworb-Nang Maabobr Kor, and assured him of their support.

This was contained in a statement signed jointly by Mr. Eric Kyei, its Chairman, and Mr. William Boakye-Baafi, the Coordinator, in Kumasi.

It said it had no doubt about his competence, adding that, he was the right man for the position.

The statement asked that he acted with courage to tackle the challenges of the education sector to promote quality.

It said it was its prayer that he would continue to remain prayerful and rely on God’s guidance so that under his watch, the nation’s education would be transformed.
