Busted cocaine courier not an NDC member – Allotey Jacobs

Newly-elected Central Regional Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress, Allotey Jacobs has outrightly dismissed reports that the busted Ghanaian cocaine courier who supposedly carried a diplomatic passport is a member of the ruling party.

According to him, the tagging of the lady as a member of the Umbrella party is quite unfortunate and believes it’s an agenda by the opposition NPP.

Speaking on the issue on Adom FM, Allotey Jacobs vehemently warned that, individuals must cease from such malevolent mind-set.

“APUUU! The lady is a not a member of our party…people are just trying to paint the NDC black. These things must stop, it is not helping the nation,” he said

News went viral when a Ghanaian woman was arrested by security operatives at the Heathrow Airport in London. An official gave her name as Nayeli Ametefeh. She was said to be reportedly carrying cocaine weighing 12.5kg valued at several millions of pounds.

The 32-year-old Nayeli Ametefe supposedly carried a diplomatic passport, Ghanaian passport, a report that the government of Ghana has strongly denied and an Austrian citizenship as well.

Her Ghanaian passport number is G03764497, and her Austrian passport number is P4187659.
